IT-Blocks was founded in Cairo in 2001 on a single idea: that enterprise software, built and owned in-house, could earn the trust of the institutions that matter most.
We never became a reseller. We engineered our own platforms — and stood behind every line. Twenty-five years on, that work runs in more than 200 active institutional installations across ten countries and four continents, supported by over 150 specialists across our Cairo, Riyadh, and Warsaw offices.

Ayman Rashed
Ayman Rashed is one of the region's pioneering technology entrepreneurs. In 1999 he founded Otlob.com, the online food-ordering service that became one of Egypt's earliest dot-com successes and one of the first startup exits in the MENA region — the concept he pioneered later lived on as part of Talabat.
Two years later, in 2001, he founded IT-Blocks in Cairo with a small team and a single conviction: that enterprise software, built and owned in-house, could earn the trust of the institutions that matter most.
Over twenty-five years he has led the company's growth from that first team into an international software house — opening offices in Riyadh and Warsaw, growing to more than 150 specialists, and shipping fifteen-plus proprietary platforms that run inside banks, ministries, and enterprises across ten countries.
As Managing Director, he continues to set the company's engineering-first, owned-IP direction: build it, own it, and stand behind every line.
