Salatimes aims at targeting muslims all around the world. Each muslim have to pray 5 times a day. Prayers times differ from one place to another and from one day to another. Salatimes is a prayers time reminder. It contains data of around 800 cities worldwide. |

Settings of the system contain the option to set up the prayer time depending on 5 different calculation methods. Another option is to select the way the Asr salat time is calculated depending on Mazhab Shafei or Hanafi. The user also sets up the system to ring an alarm on, before or after prayer times at his local city. User can also browse prayer times at different cities on different dates. |

Salatimes has been developed using two different technologies and targeting different platforms. The first version is targeting Symbian Operating system based Mobile handsets such as Nokia series 60. While the second version is developed using J2ME targeting around 100 different handset models of around 10 famous brands. |
